HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

.
I apologize in advance. I'm probably going to offend everyone, but this is part of my history and one of my guilty pleasures. It's from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

.
PICTURES: (ok, WARNING....the first one is pretty gross, it's from the butcher. This is what we encountered when we walked out:

Some hunters had just brought it in from Colorado. It was an elk.
.
.
This is Austin's teammates washing my car. He lucked out and didn't have to do it because he was at my sister's.

.
.
Austin said he was freaking out because we look like twins. What do you think? (ignore the Wally in the middle)
.
.
This is my favorite picture of the weekend. I was trying to take a nice picture of AC and KT with their cousins and AC kept messing around on the tree swing.

What does my name say about me?

Crystal linked this cool thing on her blog today: http://www.kabalarians.com/index.cfm
Now, like her, I'm not into all that kabalah stuff but this was pretty cool and pretty correct.
What my name says about me is:
.
"Your name of Diane gives you a clever mind, good business judgment, a sense of responsibility, and an appreciation of the finer things of life.
You are serious-minded and not inclined to make light of things even in little ways, and in your younger years you had more mature interests than others your age.
Home and family mean a great deal to you and it is natural that you should desire the security of a peaceful, settled home environment where you can enjoy the companionship of family and friends.
Whatever you set out to accomplish you do your very best to complete in accordance with what you consider to be right."

.
Not too sure about the clever mind and good business judgement, but the serious-minded thing is right on. Especially not inclined to make light of things....I'm always getting lectured about taking things too seriously. And the home and family thing....absolutely, 100 percent correct.
.
JADE!!! When you do this make sure you put in your brother's and sister's name...it is too funny!!!!

FRIDAY FILL-INS #1

.
1. Right now, I'm feeling kinda tired, anxious for the day to be over.
.
2. Home, in bed, asleep is where I want to be.
.
3. How does one make everyone happy?
.
4. God keeps me on track.
.
5. Please don't scare me, I'm getting really tired of it!
.
6. Seeing my children happy fills me with joy.
.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm ....looking forward to NOTHING TO DO!! nothing to worry about because I'm kid-free;
.
tomorrow my plans include ....grocery shopping and the casino (hey, they sent me $50 FREE money to go and play!)
.
and Sunday, I want to go to church and get my kids back!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY #20

.
I found these in a box in my closet last week.
We've got Larry the Lion on the left. His eyes are missing and his voice doesn't work anymore.
In front of him is a puppet my neighbor Katy made for me when I had my tonsils taken out
when I was 5 (4o years ago!!!!).
Then there's the funky clown with the pointy head. He hung from my ceiling for the longest.
Then there's Puppy. I love Puppy. He's one of the most special things I've ever had.
And, last but not least, everything is laying on top of NightNight, my blanket. (called NightNight because I was only allowed to have it a night).
Ahhhhhh, memories of a very well-lived, well-loved childhood.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY #19

.
.
When we were at the walkathon on Saturday, we noticed these HUGE birds in the trees. There were LOTS of them. Some guy said they were turkey vultures. They did look like vultures. They looked like the vultures in The Jungle Book (minus the Beatles hair):
