WEATHER: it was beautiful most of the week. Then Thursday it started raining. It hasn't stopped all that much ever since.

SUNDAY SERMON: We had a guest pastor Skip Heitzig. He has a documentary out about the Jesus Boat and the fall and rise of Israel. He spoke about God's promises and how we can rely on Him.
.
FAVORITE MEAL: bbq'd steaks and baked potatoes on Saturday night
.
TREASURED MOMENT: ok, it's silly, but.......seeing the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile
.
WHAT I READ: Slash's autobiography; When Your Hormones Go Haywire; Victory Over the Darkness
.
WHAT WE WATCHED: the kids watched City of Ember, I tried but I fell asleep
.
WHERE WE WENT: nowhere spectacular, except for my sister's house (see below for a photographic essay)

BLESSINGS/CHALLENGES/ACCOMPLISHMENTS: eating better has been all three to me this week. I actually ate an apple!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe me, this is huge!!!!

FAMILY HAPPENINGS: KT was sick the first part of the week; AC and I were sick on Friday. Saturday, KT got to go to Aunt P's and spend the night and make cookies.

So was this. They hated me for pulling over and taking their picture. We sang the "Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner" song and all got weinie whistles.
They were not amused.

Our rain has been intermittant. They keep saying it's going to rain, but then it doesn't, or only rains a little bit.
