I SPOKE OUT

Awhile ago, I read on Violence Unsilenced: "Don't lose today. Don't ever forget that you are strong and powerful and perfect, just the way you are. And anyone who doesn't believe that, and cherish you every minute of the day, does not deserve to walk with his hand in yours."

Today, I have a voice.

Thank you for the timely reminder. Much love to you, darlin'. I'm trying to follow my own advice and empty my bucket. Who knew it was so full of garbage?

Hi Diane,

There was a technical glitch with the auto-publish I'd scheduled and so the post is only just now going live. I am so sorry for the delay.

Thank you again for sharing of yourself in this way. You are not alone.

I found your post via ViolenceUnsilenced. Thank you for sharing.

I too am a survivor of domestic violence and, after a recent post on my blog, a friend recommended that I submit to VU.

I'm going to take their advice. I'm so glad for this outlet for abuse survivors. I'm so glad I found you through it.
