We didn't do a whole heck of a lot this weekend.
Thursday night after tacos, we went to the soccer field to give cousin H her bday present:

Friday night in my garden, I discovered that a possum has been snacking on one of my melons:

Saturday morning, we went recycling. We made $130!!!

Saturday afternoon, I cooked. Lime and herb halibut, ranch potatoes, tequila lime shrimp, and strawberry banana bread. Then we watched another UFC fight.

Sunday, the kids and I went shopping for school clothes. We got some really great deals and ended up only spending around $200. We went to Walmart, too, for supplies.

We also got AC his new phone:

This week, KT will be going to Aunt P's house tomorrow through Saturday morning. AC has football practice all week. He gets his uniform and equipment on Friday and starts HellWeek on Saturday morning. Wednesday night we get to go pick up his schedule at school.

Saturday night the kids and a friend for each of them and myself are going to the Harvest Crusade with Greg Laurie and Angel Stadium. P.O.D. , Kutless, and Leeland will be performing. We can't wait!!!

BAD possum BAD!!!

$130?! That's awesome!

I used to listen to POD and Kutless, but got tired fo them a few years ago. I am sure they are more for younger teens/adults anyways. Have fun!

That's a lot of recycling.

My local recycling center doesn't pay anything, and has a chain link fence and security cameras to keep people from leaving stuff.

WOW! on the recycling....

And it sounds like you did well with the shopping.

As always, the menu sounds delicious!
